A quick update on Millbourne Pond. We had a contractor on-site today installing three bore-holes down to a depth of five metres. This work was advised by our environmental consultant ERM. Over the next six or so months we will monitor water levels and by mid-summer 2016 will have an accurate year round record of the water table surrounding the pond. If there is a constant water table at a depth of something like 1-1.5 metres we will re-profile the pond and cover it with a geotextile / geogrid - (this is to stop the gravel collapsing in on itself) and should have a low maintenance pond with year round water and ecology. We are essentially restoring the dew pond status, be it as a slightly lower level. The core samples from the today's drilling will be tested by ERM but look to be 100 percent alluvial gravel. We hit water at 1 metre which is good news.

Hello
Is there any update on Milbourne Pond following on from the bore holes that were done last year?
