Ember Big Band Remembers Weston's War

As part of the fundraising to repaint All Saints Weston Green church, this event is being presented on Saturday 7th June, with two performances - 2.30pm and 7.30pm - in the church.

Nick Handel, a former BBC producer, has created a ‘musical documentary’ marking 80 years since the end of World War 2, drawing on the experiences of local people living in Weston Green at the time. Their personal stories will be accompanied by the wonderful Ember Big Band with songs to reflect the period.
